Julius the baby of the world. this book is aboot Lilly. Lillys mom is haveing a baby. At frist Lilly likes her brother but when he is bron it is different. I think she is going to like brother at the end. She is haveing a party for him. I like this book becuas like books with Lilly in it. Another reasin is there is ababy in the store . The finle reasin I like haveing partes for babyes with fraines and famlie. Thies are all the reasins I like this book.

Big Nate On a Roll is a book about Nate wanting to win a skateboard because he lost his skateboard. He wants to win a new skateboard by selling wall hangings. Arthur also wants to win that skateboard. I enjoyed this book because it’s funny and it’s something you would want to read more then once. I’ve read this book at least 50 times. The recommended reading level is 3rd-5th grade is the to Scholastic.com. I would suggest this for guys and girls at the age of 8-10 would love this book ,and Lincoln Peirce’s Big Nate series.

The book “The Only Game”, written by Mike Lupica, is a realistic fiction sports novel. In this story Jack Callahan, a 13 year old boy,who lives in a baseball town called Walton, is grieving over his older brother Brad's death and learning how to handle the stress in his life, especially baseball. He wants to make his brother proud, but cannot help but blame himself for his brother's death. Why is he blaming himself? He decides he needs a break from baseball to focus on dealing with his brother's death. Once news gets around that the best player on the boys baseball team is quitting, Jack's friends get angry that Jack left without an explanation. Jack also has to decide how to tell his parents that he has decided to quit baseball. While Jack is taking a break from baseball he makes some new friends that support him and remind him how beneficial baseball is in his life. After his new friends help him work through his grief and get him back out on the field Jack decides to help them show off their own talent on the field. He teaches them the rules of baseball and reminds them how important it is to believe in yourself. But who is teaching who? The topics addressed in this book are grief, love, loss, guilt, trust and friendships.This teaches how important good mental health is when playing a sport. Overall I love the lesson that the book taught and I would definitely recommend this book. I give this book a 4.5 star rating.

Alexander Graham Bell An Inventive Life, by Elizabeth Macleod, tells that a difficult childhood doesn’t mean an unsuccessful adulthood. Alexander Graham Bell had a bad childhood, with his two brothers being infected with TB, the eventual death of them, and Alexander Bell not being a good student. He was born in Great Britain in 1847, but after ten years, the family had to move to America. Alexander Graham Bell became a teacher and a professor. Later, he invented a lot of things, such as the levitated boat and the telephone. He also had trouble proving he had invented the phone, but in the end, it made him famous. He died in 1923 in Canada and is a great example of somebody having a successful life after a troubling childhood. I recommend this biography for boys and girls, grades third to fourth.

I want to read this book, because I am a HUGE fan of Avril Lavigne. Her music is AMAZING!!!! I just know I would love it!
