Raina Telgemeier's #1 New York Times bestselling, Eisner Award-winning graphic memoir based on her childhood!

Raina just wants to be a normal sixth grader. But one night after Girl Scouts she trips and falls, severely injuring her two front teeth. What follows is a long and frustrating journey with on-again, off-again braces, surgery, embarrassing headgear, and even a retainer with fake teeth attached. And on top of all that, there's still more to deal with: a major earthquake, boy confusion, and friends who turn out to be not so friendly.

I love this book!!! It inspired me to be happier and the rest of the series helped me stand up to my friends!!

I like this book because it shows that shes brave and strong through her long journey, she does go through a lot but she has hope that it will be all over but, there is a lot ahead that she does not know what else is gonna happen next, and that's just the beginning.

Smile by Raina Telgemeier was an amazing book about her life as a kid like how she broke her two front teeth and it was a long time of pain this was one of the best ever I read all of her other books like sisters, guts, ghost and drama those were the best kinds of books ever I would recommend it.

Smile is an awesome graphic novel by Raina Telegmeier about Raina as a kid. She falls and damages her two front teeth leading to four years of long, hard, painful and annoying dental treatment. I recommend Smile for grades third to sixth.

I recommend this book I have it at my house and have read it many times It's one of my personal favorites.

I love this book because it talks about braces and the times you need them. It has some things like blood and crying, that makes me feel weird but I was amazed with the style.

I have this book at my house and its so amazing I recommend

This book is really good! On the challenging scale I would rate it a 2 -- a little easy. This book is basically about a girl who is a little scared of braces, but then she gets them and they are terrible! She goes to the orthodontist and they pull the wires on the braces, which tightens the teeth! That seems like it would really hurt. I would recommend this book to 2nd to 5th grade - like I said, it's a little easy.

I loved this book a lot is by far one of the best books I have read before it explained what braces are in different parts of the book so kids who are getting braces or kids who don't know what they are have a better understanding on what they are and it also talks about what happens when you do get them on and it is a good book for kids, it Is also a good book if you want to lean about braces if you get them on or have already gotten them on and I love how it actually explains the story line on what happened or what could happen if you are not careful.

I think this is one of my fav books i always read this get never get tired of this book SO GOOD hop u like it!
