Title: squished Author: Megan Wagner Lloyd Genre: Realistic Fiction I give this book a 5/5 stars because this book connects to real life for some people. It also has a very fun plot. One thing I find interesting is how Dani decided to hang out with Char instead of Avery! Char is cool and all but Avery is really sad about it. I recommend this book to 3rd+ because the plot could confuse a second grader but overall I think it's a really good book.

stevierivie_23's book review was featured in Best Friends.
Title: Best Friends Author: Shannon Hale Genre: Auto Biography I would give this novel a 5/5 because it really shows what it's like to have struggles in 6th grade. It also shows that not everybody is supposed to be perfect. One thing I found interesting about this book is how Shannon denied Jenny when she asked to be in the group two times yet she still hangs out with them. Another thing I found interesting is how Jen made Shannon's group back into the group again which is very unfair to Shannon because she tried to start over. Lastly I would recommend this book for grades 3rd to 6th because it takes place in sixth grade but a 2nd grader wouldn't get it because they don't really understand this sort of concept and what the group is.

Title: Sunny Rolls The Dice Author: Jennifer L. Holms Genre: Realistic Fiction I'd give this book a 3/5 because it's hard to tell which character is which. One thing I thought was interesting was how she decided to rate herself instead of being okay with how she is. I would recommend this book for 4-6 because it's not very challenging but the plot is fun.

Title: Amulet Supernova Author: Kazu Kabuishi Genre: Shi-fi/Fantasy I would give this a 3/5 because they always end with a cliff hanger which I personally get angry about, whoever I do like how Emily takes off the elf kings mask! What's interesting to me is the fact that she has a kid. I wonder who his dad is or if she adopted him? I would recommend this book for 4th grade to 6th grade because when your in 6th grade it might be too easy for you. If you're in 3rd grade you may get scared of the events in this novel like when the elf kind has no mask on.

stevierivie_23's book review was featured in Firelight (Amulet #7).
Title: Amulet Firelight Author: Kazu Kabuishi Genre: Sci fi I would give this a 3/5 rating because in my opinion how they switch from situation to situation can be annoying for me. Whoever some of the parts are good for example when Emily turns into a bird, that's cool! Secondly this book has some interesting parts like when the shadows control the fish and they pierce through the glass. I would recommend this book for 3rd+ because if a 2nd grader read this they might not understand it or think it's real.

stevierivie_23's book review was featured in Nimona.
Title: NIMONA Author: Noelle Stevenson Genre: Sci fi/Fantasy I think this book deserves a ⅘ because the ending could be better for example In the the last chapter Nimona could’ve recognized him in the large crowd instead of just saying hi, and they could’ve lived together, and they could live with Ambrosios too. Secondly some parts of this book are interesting like when Blackheart figures out that they have been storing large amounts of jade root all along! I would recommend this book for 10+ because there is some inappropriate language in this novel.
