The New York Times bestselling graphic novel sensation from Noelle Stevenson, based on her beloved and critically acclaimed web comic. Kirkus says, “If you’re going to read one graphic novel this year, make it this one.”

Nemeses! Dragons! Science! Symbolism! All these and more await in this brilliantly subversive, sharply irreverent epic from Noelle Stevenson. Featuring an exclusive epilogue not seen in the web comic, along with bonus conceptual sketches and revised pages throughout, this gorgeous full-color graphic novel has been hailed by critics and fans alike as the arrival of a “superstar” talent (NPR.org).

Nimona is an impulsive young shapeshifter with a knack for villainy. Lord Ballister Blackheart is a villain with a vendetta. As sidekick and supervillain, Nimona and Lord Blackheart are about to wreak some serious havoc. Their mission: prove to the kingdom that Sir Ambrosius Goldenloin and his buddies at the Institution of Law Enforcement and Heroics aren't the heroes everyone thinks they are.

But as small acts of mischief escalate into a vicious battle, Lord Blackheart realizes that Nimona's powers are as murky and mysterious as her past. And her unpredictable wild side might be more dangerous than he is willing to admit.

i love this book becus the book is so intresting so that is wiy love the book iloe book

I think that Nimona by Noelle Stevenson should get a ⅘. This is because I think that the ending could be better. Nimona gets mad at Blackheart because she thinks he chooses to be a hero over saving her life, (which isn't true), which makes her upset, so she runs away. Later, they see each other in a crowd, and Nimona just waves, and then disappears into the crowd, and they never see each other again. This makes me annoyed because I think that they could’ve lived together and maybe Blackheard could adopt her, two lonely souls living together you know? But of course that didn’t happen. Instead, Nimona says a brief goodbye and the story ends! Crazy! But, overall, I think that this book is amazing and super unique. I think that this book is a wonderful read for 4th grade to 6th grade. WARNING: This book has some swears, (Not the worst ones though. Just a couple of minor ones.). I recommend reading this book, so just go to your local library, and get this book now!!!

Title: NIMONA Author: Noelle Stevenson Genre: Sci fi/Fantasy I think this book deserves a ⅘ because the ending could be better for example In the the last chapter Nimona could’ve recognized him in the large crowd instead of just saying hi, and they could’ve lived together, and they could live with Ambrosios too. Secondly some parts of this book are interesting like when Blackheart figures out that they have been storing large amounts of jade root all along! I would recommend this book for 10+ because there is some inappropriate language in this novel.

Good Book Im Not Finished But I Like How Nimona Can Shape Shift There Is Bad Words In The Book But They Are Crossed Out I Do Not Recommend This Book For Children Under The Age Of 9-19

Every thang a bout this book is go there are some bad words but if your over 12 your good to go

This book was very interesting... Graphic Novel artists always have their own technique at drawing... like... the authors' drawings always look different than another author... I love to look at all the different kinds... The drawings in this graphic novel were very unique... It was kind of like a modern middle age type....

OH MY GOSH THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I loved it so much! Nimona, she's so cool, she just blows stuff off, until her powers disappear... I think ages 9 and up would be best suited to read this book.

Nimona, teenage shape-shifting expert and wannabe villain. Ballister Blackheart, Knight-turned-villain. When these two lives collide (in a brief incedent which involves Nimona bustling into Blackheart's lab), be prepared for endless laughing, a nervous freak out, and many sorrowful tears. On a giant plan to get revenge on the ambitious Goldenloin, the characters discover that sometimes a monster could just be a little girl down under.

I LOVE THIS BOOK. The art style is excellent and the story to it is wonderful. Everyone thought i was so good it is getting turned into a movie, i'm sure that the movie will be just as exciting as the book. I am hoping for a part 2 and part 3 to it with a different story. I highly recommend this book to people who like good graphic novels.
