Amazing book for lovers of fantasy. J.R.R. Tolkien does such a great job at immersing you in his world. The detail is incredible, the characters are funny and likable, and there is so much to enjoy in this book. I will say that for inexperienced readers it could be a bit difficult to understand, but for the majority of mature tweens and teens it is the perfect book. If The Lord of the Rings seems a bit daunting, I would suggest reading the Hobbit first, as it is shorter and has a simpler plot. Overall, The Lord of the Rings is a must read.

A great book! Perfect if you want to build your vocabulary. It will be a difficult read if you're not used to reading this style, but The Scarlet Letter is very beneficial! Personally I thought the writing was beautiful, and I would recommend this book if you like classics. (Just make sure to have a dictionary on hand for some of the big words)

Overall a great book. True, it is very dark, and paints a picture of the depravity of man. There is some violence, so I wouldn't suggest for more sensitive readers, but the writing is easy to understand and although somewhat depressing, the story is interesting enough to keep you hooked.

An essential book that is very insightful, albeit quite sad. Anne Frank's diary is very real and emotional, I would recommend it to mature mid schoolers and upwards.

An amazing book for younger readers! Expect adventures, danger, friendships, and more in the Mysterious Benedict Society! This used to be one of my favorite books in 5th grade.

My all time FAVORITE childhood book! Redwall is engaging, exciting, and funny - the perfect story for younger kids! In 5th grade I read every Redwall book cover to cover twice and loved them so much!

The first Redwall book I read as a kid, and was so good I went on to read all the rest of them! 5/5 would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful, a touching story of a young girl and her life in Nazi Germany. Beautiful descriptions and likable characters, you won't be able to put this book down! Recommend for grades 5-9 or kids that can handle mature topics.

Great story, not too bad if you're an experienced reader. Don't be discouraged by the longer words, it's not too hard to understand the plot.

A very important book with some good messages. Does include some profanity and racism as well as other mature topics, so I would recommend it for kids that can understand more serious books. Other than that, it's a great book, the writing is super easy to understand, and you won't get bored with this book. There are some good role models in this coming of age story. I think it's extremely beneficial to read TKAM.
