Carlton Crumple has always believed in the existence of monsters, partly due to his older brother Milt telling Carlton made up stories. For most of his life, he believe Milt, until one day, Lulu his neighbor, changed his view towards monsters. From that moment onward, Carlton dedicated all his time to becoming the world's first creature catcher! He overcame his fears of monsters, and learned all the techniques on how to catch creatures (he even tried some on his family!). Carlton had a bright future as a creature catcher. That is, until his parents decided that Carlton needed a real job, not some imaginary job. Day after day, Carlton went to work, hopeful that one day, he might be needed to catch a monster. And boy, was his dream brought to life. Enter, the Munchies, ancient monsters who wanted nothing but to eat all the fast food they could possibly find. Carlton set out on his mission to stop the Munchies before they ate all the fast food. Will Carlton Crumple be able to catch the Munchies? Or will the Munchies devour all the fast food and destroy towns in their path? To find out, read Carlton Crumple Creature Catcher 1: Catch the Munchies! I really loved the cute illustrations in this book, and I would recommend it to younger children who love a good adventure. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars.Over 4 years agodomosaur has read this book.

Have you ever treated your teddy bear as if it was alive? Well, in this book, every kid's dream comes true. There is a whole league, the League of Ursus, of stuffed toy warriors that have pledged to protect their humans from monsters. One girl, Loretta, is very lucky to have Spark as her protector teddy bear. Spark takes his role as protector of Loretta very seriously. One night, Spark faces a terrible monster with a massive scorpion-like tail and horned head, but Spark is not scary enough to fight off the monster. Spark begins to wonder whether the monster is connected to the recent disappearance of Sophia, Loretta's friend. When Sir Reginald, Loretta's brother's teddy bear warrior goes missing, alone with some other children, Spark and the League of Ursus must unite to save the children and their fellow comrades. Will Spark and the League of Ursus be the victors? Or will all the children, along with the League of Ursus, go missing forever? To find out, read Spark and the League of Ursus! My favorite part of the book was how the author brought to life the teddy bears. I give this book a 5 out of 5 stars, and highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good mystery and an adventure.Over 4 years agodomosaur has read this book.

Tom was ecstatic for his first day of middle school, as a regular eleven-year-old boy. He had his whole middle school career planned out, with his grand "Invisible Tom Plan", until it all went downhill after Tom got bitten by a vampire, werewolf, and a zombie, all in the same day! Tom suddenly finds himself part vampire, part werewolf, and part zombie. As the first day gets closer and closer, Tom begins to accept his new life, but starts to worry about how the rest of Hamilton Middle School react to the new Tom. Will they accept his unique characteristics, or will they ignore him and exclude him from the student body? To find out, read Middle School Bites. I really enjoyed this book, and I really liked the humor in this book. I give this a 4 out 5 stars, and would recommend this to kids who enjoy a funny book.Almost 5 years ago
