This is an amazing book and I highly recommend it. Divergent is full of twists and betrayal. This book is a combination of The Hunger Games and The Harry Potter series.

Beatrice Prior is from Abnegation, the faction that's main belief is selflessness. In Beatrice's society, there are 5 factions total, each with a different belief. Candor values honesty, Erudite values intelligence, Dauntless values courage, Amity values peacefulness, and Abnegation values selflessness. Every year, 16 year olds chose, on Choosing Day, whether they want to stay in the faction they grew up in or leave their family for a new faction. Beatrice decides to **semi spoiler** leave her faction and changes her name to Tris. In her new faction, Tris has to make it through initiation before she becomes a member. Each of the 3 stages of initiation prepares Tris and the other initiates forblife in their new faction. Will Tris make it through initiation? If she does, will she be ranked high enough to stay? And what will happen if someone finds out about Tris's real test results? And what about Four, the handsome, intimidating training leader? 10/10 The sudden romance and rivalry stand out. Goodness I love the plot twist Although Peter is too full of himself. It certainly isn't Edwards fault for his insanity later on.
