Riley, a teen orphan boy living in Victorian London, has had the misfortune of being apprenticed to Albert Garrick, an illusionist who has fallen on difficult times and now uses his unique conjuring skills to gain access to victims' dwellings. On one such escapade, Garrick brings his reluctant apprentice along and urges him to commit his first killing. Riley is saved from having to commit the grisly act when the intended victim turns out to be a scientist from the future, part of the FBI's Witness Anonymous Relocation Program (WARP) Riley is unwittingly transported via wormhole to modern day London, followed closely by Garrick.

In modern London, Riley is helped by Chevron Savano, a nineteen-year-old FBI agent sent to London as punishment after a disastrous undercover, anti-terrorist operation in Los Angeles. Together Riley and Chevie must evade Garrick, who has been fundamentally altered by his trip through the wormhole. Garrick is now not only evil, but he also possesses all of the scientist's knowledge. He is determined to track Riley down and use the timekey in Chevie's possession to make his way back to Victorian London where he can literally change the world.

I read this book and I did not like it. It was kind of hard to understand, and it was boring. I would not recommend this book.

This book is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! This is the first book and I can't wait to read the next ones!!! This book is about an evil magician/murderer who is trying to capture Riley and an FBI agent from the future! Chevie Savano the FBI agent was sent to London to 'babysit a "pod"' she doesn't know what she's protecting then Riley appears in the pod with a guy, stabbed with a knife by Riley, who was forced by the evil magician! Then Riley and Chevie begin their journey trying to escape Garrick, the murderer, switching from the past to the present!!! I recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

This book was enjoyable, though it wasn't one of my favourites. It's characters were mediocre and though I enjoyed reading it, I found it a bit slow at the beginning.

Reily is a boy who lives in London. He travels through time and lands in the 21-st century. He has been working for W.A.R.P (witness Anonymous relocation program) this book is very exciting.

It was an awesome cool agent type style book. This was the best book because I like spy and action book. I so loved it.

I thought this book was very exciting. It was also pretty easy to follow. It had lots of funny tidbits, like one of the characters was named Agent Orange, and other humor. I Liked it a lot!

This book is a very interesting action/science fiction book. It has a good sense of adventure and humor. I recommend this book for 8 to 12 year olds to read.

I received this book in last year from the summer reading program. The story had almost a steam-punk feel with the time travel. I don't usually read sci-fi, but the story was pretty good and the characters felt original.

I started to read this book and I really did not like it. I read about to the middle then had to it it down because I was completely lost. I just don't think this book is for me.
