love this book! rick riordan is amazing, and he keeps me wanting to read the books over and over again and breathless for the house of hades!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing. Rick writes with perfect pacing and beautiful craft in the Mark of Athena. (spoiler alert!!!) At the end, where Riordan drops Pecy and Annabeth into tartarus, most people will think that Riordan is just cheap. Think again. The Doors of Death have to be closed from both sides at the same time. Annabeth and Percy have just been reunited, so he can't seperate them. That's why he drops both of them into tartarus. This book and the rest of the series are must reads. The a truly amazing!
I have read this whole series and I cant wait for the 4th one that is coming fall 2013!! I cannot wait!

This is easily the best book of the year, it's loving tale and endless suspense appealing to kids. If you haven't read it yet, it's about time you do. They are all action packed and exciting. I can't wait for House of Hades!!!:);) My favorite part in the book is when Percy and Jason fight the two giants that was epic! I am Percy Jackson's bigest fan!!!!!! I even got Rick Riordan's autograph!!!!! That was awesome!! (Spolier Alert!!!) I can't believe when Percy and Annabeth fell into tartarus Leo blamed himself for what happened.. :( i think he is going to be doing something to say he is sorry. does anyone else think so?

Such a good book! (SPOILER ALERT!) I knew Annabeth would find the lost Athena Statue! it is funny how she tricks Arachne into making a huge chinese finger trap which arachne gets trapped in! percy and annabeth fall down to tartarus and leo blames himself for them getting captured. i loved this book and recommend it to anyone who liked the previous books!
Percy Jackson and Annabeth have been reunited, and along with some new friends, they must seek out and kill two giants who have kidnapped a friend's brother, a son of Hades. But Annabeth must take her own path- a path wich is to follow The Mark Of Athena and avenge her mother. A path that will ultimately gain her her mother's guidance once again, or send Annabeth flailing into the pit of Tartarus.
