The book "Because of Winn-Dixie" is my absolute favorite book. I love this book because it shows true friendship about a young girl and a stray dog learning to live life at it's fullest. " Because of Winn-Dixie" gets better each time you read it. I am so happy my second grade teacher introduced me to this book. I was even more happy when I found out my 4th grade class was going to be reading it together! "Because of Winn-Dixie" was my first Kate DiCamillo book and it led me to all her other books that are great too!

A book about friendship and the power of relationships. I love this book and have read it at least 10 times.
This book is old but it is verry exiting. I will give you a little peek about the book. Opal is living in Flordia with her dad he is a very hard working man and never seems to have time for Opal. But then Win-Dixie comes along and well read the book for yourself. Does Win-Dixie help Opal and her family? see what happens and read Because of Win-Dixie!!!!!!!!!!!
We are currently on Chapter 13 as a class! Read and enjoy!

i read this book in 4th grade well my teacher read it to me. This book is the best book yet in america. This reminds me of dixie my hamster/ guniepig well a breed ix of hamster and gunie pig

I have choosed to read this book because my friends are always talking about how good the book is and now i am ready read the book I have heard about the book and also teachers have told me to read it so now i am going to read it and if it i not good i am going to read the book and if it is not that good i will be very upset. I will be upset because every one is talking about the book.Also I am going to love this book by the cover of the book i am going to like it very much and one more reason why i am going to like is because I love dogs and I wont do nothing to harm them.
