At the end of the book it made my jaw drop!

It was a really good book. Luke is a third child and can not go to school or do anything. But one day he was playing out in the yard and his mom said come in. She told him he can not go out there any more because they are buliding houses. Then they started moving in and luke had to stay in his room and eat on the stairs but one day he looked out the vent and saw a shadow of a child. He counted how many people left and how many people came back and he got 28 but he kept seeing that shadow. So one day he decides that he should go over. So he goes over there and puts a whole in the screen and meets this girl. She is getting ready for a rally. When it was time for the rally she had 40 other shadow children and the girl never returned. Read to find out what happen to her and the 40 other children.
