I bought the whole series from scholastic and absolutely loved it. Except for the part when that one girl died....(I won't say who, to avoid spoiling too much). I found this to be a great series. It's amazing how much these kids could do to change their country, but the best part is that it's almost completely realistic and actually within the capabilities of kids in real life. I highly recommend this series (except for those who can't stand some kinds of tragedy, because there's quite a bit of guns and danger in these books. So if you're really sensitive, I'd stay away, but other than that, these are really good).

this book was amazing i can read this over and over again if i wanted to...this had to be one of the best books ever

It's a super good book.

This book was ok. The story is set where it is illegal to have 3 children. The main character, Luke, stays in hiding because he is a third child. Luke meets another third child named Jen. Sadly, Jen dies, leaving Luke determined to keep her dream of being free alive.

**SPOILER ALERT** This book is really good. One of the saddest parts is when not a lot of people show up to the rally and Jen dies.

awesome awesome awesome read it if you want to be amazed

It is an amazing book about the illegal third child's life. An amazing dystopian society child story!

This is an excellent and amazing book that I would suggest this book to mystery lovers. This book would definitely be a five star book. Luke has never been to school and he has never met anyone, but his mom, his dad, and Mark, or Mathew. He is an illegal child that cannot be found. Read on to find out more about Luke.
