Twelve-year-old underachiever Rob has better things to do than read. His parents give him lots of books but most of them just end up in the messy pile of junk he keeps locked in his closet that once doubled as a makeshift science laboratory. One day, Rob hears weird sounds coming from behind his closet door and discovers a funny little creature that seems to be a cross between two characters from books he's tried to ignore. He names him Wonkenstein.

Keeping track of "Wonk" is hard work. But with help from friends and a little off-the-wall magic, Rob and Wonkenstein's crazy adventures set the stage for great laughs . . . and Rob might even read some good books along the way.

this book is really good!!! I would totally recommend this book to all book lovers. Obert Skye really made me intersind in this book !

This book was one of the funniest books i have read i would recomend this to people who dont like to read because its so funny

Wonkenstein is a good book. It talks about a thumb tacks that are decorated to look like a face. The reason it is called Wonkendtein is the creature looks like part Willy Wonka and part Albert Einstein.

Actually, it's part Willy Wonka, part Frankenstein... Have a great day!

This book is like meh. Not much excitement, it's like "Oh no! There is a creature called a Wonkstein in my closet!!!" I found it a bit boring.

I agree. Interesting story, but I couldn't get behind it, you know? I give it three stars

this book was so funny i put things in my closet all the time when my mom tells me i have to clean my room. my mom always said there were trolls in my room and when i left a mess they would steal my toys. i think she actually read this book

this book is great because it mixes magical creatures and diary of a wimpy kid all in one super very funny book. plus, it encourages reading

This book was funny because it took 2 characters with super different personalities and combined them for a funny little discreeter named Wonkenstein. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes fairy tails.

Rob has those annoying things in life that plague him every single day. His sister is vain about her beauty, his brother annoys him because he wants to play or do something Rob doesn't like, and etc., etc., etc. But his top annoyance is his heavy closet door filled with his stuff that he doesn't have use for, which happens to be attached to a creepy-looking doorknob. But he is surprised when a weird, little person NOT FINISHED DON'T ALLOW

it is about this boy that does not have a good life and one day something comes out of his closet. It is about how that something helps him a little with his life

Robert hates reading. Every time his mom gives him a book, he shoves it into his messy closet. One day, he hears a weird sound coming out of his closet. AAAAARRRRGH! It's Wonkenstein, the creature from Robert's closet! Wonkenstein is a combination of two book characters found in books in his closet. What will Robert do?
