Inspired by his childhood where Derek Jeter and his parents made a contract that without good grades there would be no baseball. I didn't find this book very good, though I'd say that it is a great book for people who love the sport.

I did not like this book in the least bit. It's one book in a series. I only read The Contract in write a review about it. What I thought was really nice is that it was Mr. and Mrs. Jeter who create the contract for Derek to sign and they supported Derek.

This book is about the life of Derek jeter and it was awesome. I recommend to baseball fans that they should buy this book over the summer.

This book was so amazing! This book is a nice summer reading book and it is one of the best biblographs I've ever had. Would recommend it to anyone who likes baseball.

This kid has a contract. A contract for life. A contract for what he loves mostly. This is a heartwarming tale worth sharing all over the world!! Loved this book!!

I really like Derek Jeter and was hoping to connect to this book, but it was boring. I thought it dragged on. I did suggest it to a few of my friends and they thought it was ok as well.

This book was better than I expected as a baseball fan since my bro plays baseball I thought hey why not.But this book exceeded my expectations .Derek Jeter is a famous new York Yankees shortstop and this is the story of how he got to that route.

Even through baseball isn't much of my interests, this book was still pretty good. My personal rating of this book was 3.5, since as said, baseball isn't much of my interests, but a reason I like this book is because it is very interesting. I also like how determined he is to be a baseball star and how he never gives up. But anyways, this book is clearly liked by baseball lovers. I recommend this book since its funny, and if you are a baseball lover, I am guaranteed that you will love this book. I definitely changed through the book since 2 seconds after I finished this book, I really wanted to give this book to my teacher to read to her children since her children loves baseball, unlike me, which basebal is not a good sport to me. Still, this book is ok and pretty good.

If you have an hour or two to kill, you ought to read this novella. Written by famous baseball player Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees, this book shows you the young life of Derek Jeter. Back then, he wanted to the the shows you that even in 3rd grade, Derek always wanted to be the shortstop for the New York Yankees. He was a good kid who got good grades and loved baseball. But even in 3rd grade, you have to balance a lot. His parents realized this, so they had him sign a contract(hence the name of the book). He had expectations in school, home, and baseball. Of course, his Little League team didn't promise everything to him. Keeping up school grades and behavior wasn't the easiest for him. And not every encounter at home was the best. But Derek kept to his contract, and everything works out for him in the end. Now, Derek Jeter has fulfilled his life dream and owns an organization that helps kids fulfill their dreams.

This book is about sports and how Derek Jeter became a baseball player. I recommend this to any one who loves sports!!
