This is a book about a boy named Rufus. He is so excited to get a dog, but his dad has a few objections about the dog. They poop, you have to walk them, they drool, etc. But then his mom has a crazy idea. An idea that can't be true. But it is. She comes home with a guinea pig and the guinea pig starts to act like she is a dog, because she thinks she is. Go through this amazing story with Rufus, his mom, and his dad, that might not be so happy about this idea, that mom thought of.

I like Guinea Dog because it's a funny book. Rufus, a boy, wants a dog. His mom bought a guinea pig instead. The guinea pig his mom bought acts like a dog. My favorite part of this book is when the guinea pig chases Rufus all over the playground at his school and his classmates are laughing at Rufus.
This book is about a boy who wants a dog, and nothing else, but instead, his mom buys him a guinea pig. But it begins to act like a dog, and when he is faced with the decision of giving up his guinea pig, or keeping it, he decides to keep it, and he loves it.
I love animals and I also likes to read humorous book. This book has both of them. It is really funny to see a guinea pig that acts like a dog.
It is about a boy that really wants a dog, but his dad doesn't like dogs and his mom gets a guinea pig instead. But this guinea pig is no ordinary guinea pig, it acts like a dog! He makes such a great pet the boy didn't want a dog anymore.

This is such a great book and I loved it. It is about a boy who really really wants a pet dog, but his father will not let him get one. Eventually his mother gets him a pet guinea pig t make up for the lack of dog. The boy doesn't want the guinea pig, but they eventually become good friends. Then the boy gets hurt... and its up to the guinea pig to save him....
