New City is set in the future on earth. It talks about how the earths rising waters are making everyone flee all over the world! That’s how the Isabella’s gang lost their parents! Isabella and her friends have been flown into New City. Run by the garrison. Kids who are orphans or haven’t found their parents have been imprisoned in a miserable camp. It’s exciting figuring out what is going to happen next and the thrill. So why aren’t they imprisoned in the camp even though they have no parents? What does the Major General really want from Isabella and her friends!? This is an amazing book so far and has me wanting to read it all night! If you’re into action and adventure this is the book for you!

I decided to read this book because I love the authors (Raina Telgemeier) books and comics! This one is more personal and cheers me up anytime! Raina gets bad phobias and now has a really big secret she doesn’t want anyone to hear. Among all she has so many other problems. This book reminds me of some of my life and how things will always get better! This is probably one of my favourite books from her! And like the book says. It is for anyone who feels afraid!
