The book Hatchet was a great book to read! My favorite part was when Brian was got up,after a bad crash he didn't whine and say I don't want to. He looked for food and got a positive mindset. This didn't just happen overnight! It happened in a series of events that wouldn’t take place on an ordinary day.Before the crash happened Brian's mom was skeptical. She had a secret that no one knows about or at least that's what his mom thinks. She also gave Brian a hatchet before he went to his dads. The whole car ride to the destination was quiet . Brian would get sad and depressed about this secret; it wasn't a good one.It was a sad summer this had been the first summer his parents were divorce ,and his dad still didn't know the secret (nor do you READ the book trust me ). The divorce was hard for Brian, while he was fighting to survive he changed. Instead of playing on his phone he was looking at the sunset. He was enjoying it, not just looking. I would definitely recommend this book if you love a good twist once and awhile. It is an adventurous book and you never know what's going to happen next. You don’t know if he will find food, make a shelter or even get down on himself and then get back up. I definitely would rate this book 5/5 because I love a good adventurous book. Read the whole book to figure out what happens next, what the big secret is and how he crashed.
