While it is true that indigenous peoples had already inhabited the continent, and Vikings had already discovered North America, in reality the Vikings only went as far as Canada and did not establish any permanent settlements. Columbus was more so the first man to bridge the gap between the Old World and the New World and set off the Age of Discovery.

The Nova Outburst seems really interesting. I hope I get a chance to see it.

adventure0329's book review was featured in Artemis Fowl.
In Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer, twelve year old criminal mastermind Artemis Fowl discovers the existence of fairies living below the Earth's surface. Driven by a desire for the fairy peoples' gold, he hatches a dastardly plan to kidnap a fairy to exchange to said gold. However, the fairies, reluctant to part with their gold, are willing to go head to head with the teenage genius to save their friend, and protect their species from exposure. In this middle grade fantasy novel, Colfer spins together an exciting tale like never before. With insane plots, dastardly rescue missions, and youthful humor, the reader will be glued to the pages of this book until the end. (Which, as the series is eight novels long, may be quite some time.)

I would love to win this book because my brothers are big fans of the Explorer Academy series! I've won Explorer Academy books in the past and my brothers and I loved them! Summer is also coming up, and reading this would be such a treat. Thank you for your consideration!
