This is a great book, it's action packed and there's a lot of adventure in it. As it says in the title, the book starts off at the church. Underneath the church, Sam discovers a letter that's connected to America's founding fathers which made the antagonist angry and chased after Sam and his friends. So in conclusion, it's a great read.

I liked all three books, especially the Ghosts at Belle Island. Technically, Sam and Derek were the only two kids in the first book. Caitlin came along, and now all 3 of them solve mysteries. There's a lot of action and people getting disturbed in these books.

I thought this would be a great mystery series. I love mysteries and action. The book has a lot of plot twists like when Sam didn't go with the others to get more clues. It was easy to understand. I could have read it when I was in 5th grade.
