I received this book on behalf of Dogo, and I honestly wasn’t disappointed. All her life, Nat has felt she isn’t good enough (not pretty enough, not smart enough, etc.). Then when middle school comes and her best friend ditches her for the more popular kids, it feels like a huge blow in her face! Will Nat overcome her struggles and realize that she IS enough? I especially loved the pictures in this book, because they seem like they were done by a child, which really added a nostalgic feeling. The only reason the book lost a star was because I wished it was longer and I wished the story talked more about certain parts, rather than skimming over them. Still a good book though! :DAbout 4 years agobookwormdude29 added a book review.

Considering how good the first two books were, it was no surprise that “The Mark of Athena” was a spectacular book. In this book, the Argo II crew has to separate into little groups and go on vastly dangerous adventures, which includes the scariest nymphs they’ve ever seen to the terrible wrath of Athena’s greatest (spider) enemy. The thing I liked the most about this book is how much Annabeth, Percy, and the others have developed from insecure demigods to powerful demigods who are even willing to face their biggest fears (like *spiders*) to save the world.Over 4 years agobookwormdude29 added a book review.
Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better, it did. The epic finale of the Hunger Games Trilogy is insane and it made me root for Katniss the whole way! In the novel, Katniss and her closest allies have to embark on a dangerous mission, and it was very emotional for me at times because there were so many lives that had to be sacrificed along the way, which was super sad. Still, I really loved the ending to Katniss, Peeta, and Gale’s journey. This book is seriously a must-read!Over 4 years agobookwormdude29 took a quiz.

I would really like to win, because I absolutely love National Geographic (very entertaining yet still informational) and all animals, and the cover looks really funny and cool. I’d also like to win because I want to expand my knowledge so I can be more prepared for school next year! Best of luck to everyone though! :)Over 4 years agobookwormdude29 added a book review.
Rick Riordan is back at it again with his amazing storytelling skills! Continuing on from the first book, we get a look at what’s happening on the other side of the country in California, where Percy Jackson has lost his memory and has nowhere to go. There, he stumbles upon the Romans and unexpectedly receives a dangerous quest that he must complete in a week in order to restore order to New Rome. Will he manage to finish it? I loved this book so much because Percy, Hazel, and Frank are such great characters that face a lot of dangers, which is so exciting! This book has a lot of action, drama, laughs, pretty much everything!Over 4 years ago
