All in all, Undying Glory by Clinton Cox is a very good book. My rating is a solid 9/10, and here’s why. Undying Glory tells the story the Massachusetts 54th Regiment, the first troop of African American soldiers. First thing’s first, this book tells the story of the 54th perfectly. Being a nonfiction story told by Clinton long after the events happened, the wording makes it seem like the story is told from the point of view of an immediate bystander. Emotion is used perfectly and captures the devastating nature of war. When a character (Whom I will not name because it would spoil the book) dies in the war, it is horrifying because Clinton got the reader so connected with the character. Why was it a nine out of ten instead of a ten? Although being a very powerful story, the story is a little bit hard to follow. Due to the very advanced language of the book, some plot details seem a little bit confusing. I recommend this book for anyone who is looking for a factual, intense, and powerful story of war. I do not recommend this book for anyone younger than 9, or the faint of heart.Over 7 years agoreeahe1617 added a book review.

The book “Chasing Lincoln’s killer” is a very good book because it tells you about not just the Assassination of Abraham Lincoln but more past that. And what had happened like, John Wilkes Booth being killed 12 days after the assassination that shocked me. I’d recommend this book to people that like non-fiction and crazy adventures and history.Over 7 years agogavspe1617 added a book review.
Well honestly this book wasn’t the most interesting book in my opinion. Reading isn’t something I prefer to do so that’s why i say this, whoever is reading this hopefully you like. It does have a couple interesting points like when he loses his arm or his dad gets hurts.Over 7 years agoalexhod1617 added a book review.
I recommend this book for teens, it has a lot of big words kids wouldn’t understand. I enjoyed it, it had a good plot but the conflict was a bit strange for a book about war. It has some sad moments but it turned into a happy ending.Over 7 years agoalexhod1617 has read this book.

John grows up with everything that he could ever wish for. His dad is a business man that travels all over the place. The book Rescued by Eliot Schrefer is a great story. The setting is in West Virginia. One major problem is that the orangutan is growing and getting stronger so they have to put him in a locked up trailer. The protagonists are John and the orangutan. John is 10 when he first met the orangutan but now he is 16 and the orangutan is fully grown. The Antagonist is that it isn’t common to have an orangutan as a pet especially a full grown one. Another major problem is that they bring the orangutan to a nearby zoo and John attempts to break him out. The conflict is when they find a veterinarian who shows them a safe place in Sumatra. Read the book Rescued by Eliot Schrefer to find out what happens the this great animal/human relationship. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes animals.Almost 8 years ago
