People usually just watch The Wizard of Oz. You should really try reading it though. It is about a girl named Dorothy and her dog Toto who get lost in a tornado. She was in her house so when it landed she landed on the Wicked Witch of The East. The good witch gives her the Ruby slippers. She wanted to find her way home so she asked Glinda, The Good Witch. Glinda told her to follow the yellow brick road which would lead you to the Wizard of Oz. Along the way she met a scarecrow, who needed a brain. She also met a tin man who desparately needed a heart. The lat was a cowardly lion, who needed courage. Once they got to the Wizard he sent them to get the broom of The Wicked Witch of The East. Once they get there the witch holds Dorothy prisoner. Toto helps the friends get Dorothy back. They throw water on the scarecrow because the witch set him on fire. Some water hits the witch and she starts to melt. They get her broom and go back to the wizard. Toto finds out the "great" Oz is just a man behind the curtain. Still he gives them what they wanted. Dorothy's was a parachute ride home. She misses her flight and is thought to be stuck there until the good witch comes. She tells her that all this time she's been able to do it. You just have to click your heels together three times and say "there's no place like home," and she woke up in her bed. If you like to read and, you love the Wizard of Oz, then I highly reccomend this book to you.

I really like this book so far because I like how the author writes at the beginning of the book, almost in slow motion. He describes every detail so well. At the beginning he gives you chills. The plot is really good and I wonder how he came up wirh the idea! You should definitely read it!

This was one of the best books I have ever read! I started in school and then I read the rest non-stop at home! It is about 2 boys Chip and Jonah, friend, who are adopted. 13 year old Jonah has never wondered where he came from too much in the past. Until, one day they both get letters that say "You are one of the missing". Then they keep getting more letters. They meet Angela DePre who tells them their past about them being on a plane with 36 babies, including them, and their was no pilot or flight attendants. At the end when you put all the pieces together, it all made perfect sense. Well..... not exactly. You see, Jonah's sister Katherine, Chip and himself are frazzled by all the information that Angela DePre gave them. Not to mention the mysterious time traveling. I really didn't expect the ending! I would HIGHLY recommend this book! I can't wait to read the next one in the series!

This book is AMAZING! It teaches a lot of good morals! For example, its ok to be unique and it is about standing out. It also has a lot to do with bullying. I like how at the beginning of each chapter, it has a quote that kind of goes along with the person who is narrating the chapter. I also think that the characters are really interesting. Especially August! Even though he goes through so much he still has a great personality and is really funny! You should SO read this!

It's a story about four kids, a father, and a house keeper named Cuffy. They come up with an idea where they can all put their allowences together and do anything they want to do alone. Rush comes home with a dog, that they call I.S.A.A.C. after their idea - Independent Saturday Afternoon Adventure Club. Randy meets a lady who got kidnapped by Fortune tellers. Mona comes home with bright red nails and a haircut. Oliver though, only 6, was thought to be so young, and small. The family wasn't sure if he could go all alone. But Oliver himself had other plans, going to the circus and taking a ride on a horse and carriage. This was an excellent book and I hope you read it. I also hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
