The book Smoking Stinks by Kim Gosselin, this book is about Maddie and Alex know first-hand how smoking is affecting them. Maddie can't sleep at night because of Grandpa Norman's cough, and her allergies always seem to get worse when Grandpa Norman smokes. Alex's house smells like a chimney and, due to his asthma, he has a harder time breathing when he has to inhale the smoke from his mother's cigarettes. Maddie and Alex decide to work together on a health report for school about smoking. They learn there are many dangers from smoking, both for those who smoke and those around them who get the secondhand smoke. They learn about the effects of smoke -- the sicknesses that can result and even the "outer" effects like the stains on Grandpa Norman's teeth and fingers, and the smell of smoke everywhere. When it is time for Maddie and Alex to present their report to the class, they invite Grandpa Norman and his doctor, Dr. Parkin, to be guest speakers. They show the class pictures of healthy and unhealthy lungs and tell them about the dangers of secondhand smoke and chewing tobacco. Grandpa Norman even brings his nightshirt to school for them to smell. Grandpa Norman admits to the children that he started smoking because he thought it was cool and all his friends smoked. He says his nicotine addiction keeps him from being able to quit. "There's nothing good about smoking," Grandpa Norman tells the class. "The smartest thing you kids can do is to NEVER start." He then pledges to himself, Maddie, Dr. Parkin, and the whole class to quit smoking. This book is a fantastic book, it teaches the readers smoking is bad and how it affect's the body. The anti-smoking message is the main purpose of this book and I would recommend this book to all the ages around. Everyone knows about smoking and everyone should learn it.

charlesh20's book review was featured in Catching Fire (The Hunger Games).
The book The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins is the second book of the Hunger Games series. Catching fire is about Katniss Everdeen and her family and colleagues-Peeta Mallark, Haymitch, Eva , Cinna, and her best friend Gale. They all suddenly become targets when Katniss's big act in the 74th Hunger Games becomes hope for all the other districts and suddenly an uprising starts to emerge. Twelve months after winning the 74th Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and her partner Peeta Mellark must go on what is known as the Victor's Tour, wherein they visit all the districts, but before leaving, Katniss is visited by President Snow who fears that Katniss defied him a year ago during the games when she chose to die with Peeta. With both Katniss and Peeta declared the winners, it is fueling a possible uprising. He tells Katniss that while on tour she better try to make sure that she puts out the flames or else everyone she cares about will be in danger. I would recommend this book to the ages around 13-16 which are teens, because the book has some contents that are more fits to the teens, also this book is the second book of the Hunger Games, Same rating on the first book, full star and I love it, the story is not boring at all and contains lots of new information. High;y recommend this book to other readers.

The book, The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is one of the classic action book and one of the best action book I ever seen, basically the book is about Panem is split up into 12 districts. Each year, every district is forced to randomly choose two tributes--one girl and one boy--to fight in the annual Hunger Games. A fight to the death on live television. Katniss Everdeen takes her sister's place when she is called to be the tribute of the 74th annual Hunger Games. Panem is the name of the country where Katniss lives with her family, a country that – after a series of vague disasters – rose from the ashes of North America. Droughts, storms, fires, war: it's all pretty post-apocalyptic. We learn the history of Panem, and the Hunger Games, and the thirteen districts in the first chapter from the mayor. The uprising of the Districts is known as the "Dark Days" . After the destruction of District 13, the Treaty of Treason was signed to end the conflict, and the Hunger Games were instituted to remind the districts that the uprising must never be repeated. This book has another 2 books(Catching Fire and Mockingjay), and it's the first book of the Hunger Game Series. I personally Love this book and I love to read over and over again because the storyline makes the reader's heart pumped up and nervous. I recommend this book to the ages around 13-16 because teens would love this book and also they will understand this book around this age, not too old but not too young. I rate this book for a 5 star because is one of my favorite book, the story is creative and entertaining and at last this book is full of action and mystery.

charlesh20's book review was featured in The Death Cure (Maze Runner Series).
The Book The Death Cure from the Maze Runner Series by James Dashner is the last book of the Maze Runner Series. The Wicked have start to run to find the cure. They want to restore the survivor's memories and complete the final cure for the flare. Just like before, WICKED keep hurting Thomas and his friend they hold the key to the final experiment. When WICKED wants to wipe out the memories from them, Thomas came out with a plan of escape from WICKED and at last Thomas and the Right Arms work together to bring down the WICKED. This book, or even series is so real and cool that, when you finish the first book then you want to read the next ones. Their is a feeling of mysteries to find out what is the endings. Well written story, I think the most awesome part is where Thomas escape from the WICKED and this part is making me so nervous and want to find out the answer. I would recommend this book to the age around 12-17 years old because they are some vocabs in the book that is advance word and some might not understand what that means and it also contain some violence parts. I would give this book a 5 star because I like the endings of THE MAZE RUNNER SERIES, and I like the way how the story line goes.
