If you have ever been in a pillow fight with friends, you know how much fun it is. Now imagine one with hundreds of people, most of whom you don't even know! That's exactly what happens annually, on International Pillow Fight Day!

This year, the feather explosion that took place worldwide on Saturday, April 5th, 2014, was one of the biggest, since the event began, six years ago. Throngs of people from San Francisco to Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi to Brisbane, showed up in full force at their respective city's designated area, to stage a friendly, old-fashioned pillow fight!

The crazy event that is open to people of all ages, was first thought of by two fun-loving Toronto-based artists - Kevin Bracken and Lori Kufner. Since 2005, the duo along with a loosely organized group called Urban Playground Movement, have been organizing events that cost absolutely nothing. Over the years, they have encouraged people all over the world to have fun by playing 'capture the flag' on city streets, stage 'bubble bath' battles and even, start impromptu parties inside subways trains!
