Most toy companies celebrate landmark birthdays by introducing a new, more advanced version of their gadgets or models. However for its 55th birthday, Danish company Lego decided to go a slightly different route - Challenge their fans with some riddles - 55 of them to be exact.
As would be expected all the minimalist posters feature the humble Lego brick. But the riddles do not quiz the fans about various versions of the toy, but instead, test their knowledge about pop culture.
Each of the posters pose one of four questions - Guess a popular children's story, a world famous music band, a well-known song or, a super-successful movie. The only clues available the are one or more strategically placed Lego bricks and if you are lucky, a line drawing. This means that while each one seems quite intuitive once you see the answer, they do take using some of the brain's gray matter, to figure out.
Since testing you on all 55 would be a little time consuming, not to mention tiring, we picked a select few that in our opinion appear tough, yet are the most obvious, once you see the solution.
if you are hoping that we have included the answers to these deceptively simple looking riddles, you are in luck. Simply hover your cursor over the red Lego brick and they will be revealed! But before you do that, be sure to give them a serious try. And of course, we need to know how well/badly you did - So don't forget to add your comments below. Best of luck!
Though the modern version of Lego, a combination of Danish words Leg (play) and Godt (well), is only 55 years old, the history of the company dates all the way back to 1916, when Ole Kirk Christiansen began crafting small wooden toys in his garage. Today, despite the barrage of technologically advanced toys available in the market, this oldest plastic toy in the world, remain as successful as it was, when first introduced.

- 19zachover 11 yearsI love Legos. My favorite kind of legos is ninjago.I think that kids are going to love the new riddle posters. I was able to guess the spiderman movie and King Kong movie. I thought King Kong was obvious because he is big on top of the building. I thought Inception and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was hard. I can't believe lego is already 55 years old. That is 46 years older than me, which means it is older than my mom and my brothers and my dad. I wonder if my parents played with Legos when they were younger?
