Walt Disney always loved to entertain people. Often it got him into trouble. Once he painted pictures with tar on the side of his family's white house. His family was poor, and the happiest time of his childhood was spent living on a farm in Missouri. His affection for small-town life is reflected in Disneyland Main Streets around the world. With black-and-white illustrations throughout, this biography reveals the man behind the magic.

He was.the one who made Disney World I think....

I loved Walt Disney's timeline and life! It was very interesting and amazing! People should read these amazing books and learn about the life of Walt Disney!

In general, I don't particularly like nonfiction, but the "Who Was" series never fails to deliver and is one of the sole nonfiction series I enjoy! A concise, detailed overview of Walt Disney's journey to fame, this book is both educational and entertaining. With its iconic caricature book cover illustration and beautiful artwork paired with writing inside, anyone will be up for a treat learning about one of the world's most beloved storytellers.

This book was great! I love Disney, so I really enjoyed learning all about how it began. It was very interesting reading about Walt Disney’s early life before he became famous. I love the illustrations and the details are amazing! I love Steamboat Willie!!

This book was very interesting because it was talking about how Walt Disney started growing up. And was talking about how he was very interested in reading books. And that when he was starting to make characters for Disney, there was no color or any type of sound. When Walt Disney started making mickey mouse he created tv shows and made Bambi the movie of one of the first movies he ever made. I give this book a 5-star rating because I like the interesting facts that told about his life, and his creativity about these characters that Walt Disney made.

This book is about Disney. It tells about Walt Disney's life and how he forms Disney. It was the life of the creator of the biggest franchise ever. I made a connection because Disney is a really huge franchise in real life. I give this book 5 stars because it shows how Disney is formed and how it became a huge franchise.

Who was Walt Disey is an autobioghrphy about Walt Disney's life. It explains how he went through his ups and down in his life, but in the end he ended upp with creating Walt Disney World and Walt Disney Land.I give this four stars because I love to learn about the people who impacted out world and made it what it is today. I mad a connection to this book because a lot of my friends and family have done to Walt Disney World and it is a trip I think I will eventually take in my lifetime.

This book was very interesting. It is all about Walt Disney and his life. It expplains his journey to fame with his films, characters, and TV shows. It gives information of all his ups and downs through his journey. I made a text to world connection with this book because I have been to Disney World multiple times in my life. Even as I get older I still enjoy it just as much. I give this book a four star rating because as much as it was interesting, it was a little short for me personally. Even then, I learned a lot. If you are a person who likes to learn about famous people, this book is for you!

I really liked this book because it was fun to learn about. One reason I wanted to read this book is because I recently went to Disney World, and I wanted to learn about Walt.If you really like learning about people this is the book for you.

I really like this book! It tells about Walt Disney’s life and how he grew up.1.He starts making black and white,no sound animations.2.He gets more people to work for him.3.He loses all his workers, his movie camera, and all his money. The rest of it you have to read. And as you know he becomes famous and makes Disneyland. Fun fact: He first made Oswald the rabbit and then later changed it to the popular Mickey Mouse but this Mickey was “mean and tricky” as described in the book. I would recommend this book for 2-6th graders. This was a really good book!
