Every summer Quill and his friends are put ashore on a remote sea stac to hunt birds. But this summer, no one arrives to take them home.

This is a great book because it is about a group of men and boys in 1776 being put ashore on a remote sea to harvest birds as their food. They survive hunger, storms, and many deaths. I would recommend this book to many of my friends.
