In middle school, nothing is more important than friendship.

When Truly is invited to sit at the Popular Table with the group she has dreamed of joining, she can hardly believe her luck. Everyone seems so nice, so kind to one another. But all is not as it seems with her new friends, and soon she's caught in a maelstrom of lies, misunderstandings, accusations and counter-accusations, all happening very publicly in the relentless, hyperconnected social media world from which there is no escape.

Six eighth-graders, four girls and two boys, struggle to understand and process their fractured glimples into one another's lives as they find new ways to disconnect, but also to connect, in Rachel Vail's richest and most searching book.

This book perfectly captures life in middle school! Rachel Vail gets everything; revenge, new friends and old friends, relationships. And the not so cool stuff, too; bullying, in person and on line, backstabbing and all that's in between. A great read for both guys and girls, from several different points of view, this story will never let you put it down!!!

I decided to read this book because it has emoji's on the cover. It is a really good book. It's about a girl that ditched her friend for a popular group. Its a whole lot of drama.

I love this book also If you read this book you would no what I am talking about. If you like middle school or high school books and not babyish books then this is right for you.If you do not enjoy this book than it is other books you might like so just pick another book just right for you!!!
