Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way—except their craving for human flesh. Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. - howlsover 1 year10/10 the arts amazing love the characters and bonds between them all in all one of my favorite I will be getting book 2 :-)
- a bone chilling series thats a bit horrifying. The art Ishida does is beautiful and gets better in RE. Its a must read for older readers
- definitely for older readers, its pretty graphic and has some dark stuff
- Jamesabout 2 yearsThis book is well, bone chilling. The first time I saw a “ghoul” devour on someones flesh it horrified me. The author is amazing at building these characters to seem REAL, it transports you into this dystopian place and its horrifying. This is a must read if you are into that sort of stuff. I do believe that the other reviewers are exaggerating a bit much on the quality as sometimes i’m so confused as to whats happening but its still an amazing series.
- I love this anime even tho it is a dark anime I still love it

- A lot of people will agree with me when I say this, the whole series is great, but it's a little dark. I would recommend you be at least 12 to read it.
