Jake Cutler left his home planet, Altus, to stay with the Space Dogs. Ever since they made the ISS Colossus go into a black hole, they were the 1st wanted spacejackers in the solar systems. Admiral Vantard is after them, as Jake tries to find his lost father, Andras Cutler. When they go to Papa Don's illegal spaceport, they find out that Jake is related to Papa Don, and that Papa Don has the Cutlass of Altus! When Jake retrieves the special cutlass, he tries to reunite the independent colonies. But will he fail?!?

Jake Cutler, a 13 year old space pirate and as well as being the rightful ruler of a hidden, secret, and wealthy planet, is on the run from the Interstellar Navy. The Interstellar Navy believes that Jake is responsible for the defeat and disappearance of the ISS Colossus, the most powerful ship in the Navy's fleet. Now they Interstellar Navy had declared him as an outlaw and is continuing to hunt for him. Although he has found safety for the moment aboard the Dark Horse with his space pirate friends, the Interstellar Navy continues to persuit him. To prevent the Navy from starting a galactic war, he must retrieve the lost golden cutlass that would prove that he is the true ruler of Altus. In order to get the sword, he must infiltrate the notorious space mafia. But would the leaders of the independent colonies listen to a young boy who claims to be a ruler of a planet that they don't even think exists?
