Steve Brixton always wanted to be a detective...
until he found out he already WAS one.

It all starts here: The thrilling story of Steve Bixton's first case. Our hero has a national treasure to recover, a criminal mastermind to unmask, and a social studies report due Monday -- all while on the run from cops, thugs, and secret-agent librarians.

Since when can librarians rappel from helicopters? Does Steve have any brothers or sisters? If not, then why is this series called The Brixton Brothers? You will solve all these mysteries and many more by the time you finish The Case of the Case of Mistaken Identity.

We think you'll agree: Steve Brixton's first adventure is his best adventure yet.

this is my favorite book ever!!! Its about a kid spy .he always wanted a case until one day when hes at the library and gets kidnapped by crazy librarians who think he working for the enemy!!! read it to find out if he cracks the case!

I pulled this book off my younger brother's shelf one evening, because I wanted to try to convince him to read something this summer. Before I knew it, I'm up til 3 in the morning, just devouring chapter after chapter. It's such an easy read (4-6th grade), the illustrations are very well drawn and there are just enough of them throughout the book. I really enjoyed the fast-paced story line; following the main character on this insane "adventure" you can call it, where he ran from the cops, the FBI librarians, found hidden passages and uncovered the city's mystery to save the United States of America's secrets hidden in a quilt. What a read! Sometimes, it's really refreshing to go back and read those simple books where it's the action and little details that matter most rather than the vocabulary or huge character development.

This is one of my favorite books. The main character Steve is mistakenly said to be a detective. He tries to tell the police and librarians who are chasing him that he is not but they will not listen. He takes his best friend Dana on a very fun and crazy adventure.

This book is great. It has lots of twists and turns in it. I would definitely recommend it.
