"A breath of fresh air, this tender and dynamic collection is a must-have." --Kirkus, Starred

Welcome to a neighborhood of kids who transform ordinary boxes into colorful costumes, and their ordinary block into cardboard kingdom. This is the summer when sixteen kids encounter knights and rogues, robots and monsters--and their own inner demons--on one last quest before school starts again.

In the Cardboard Kingdom, you can be anything you want to be--imagine that!

The Cardboard Kingdom was created, organized, and drawn by Chad Sell with writing from ten other authors: Jay Fuller, David DeMeo, Katie Schenkel, Kris Moore, Molly Muldoon, Vid Alliger, Manuel Betancourt, Michael Cole, Cloud Jacobs, and Barbara Perez Marquez. The Cardboard Kingdom affirms the power of imagination and play during the most important years of adolescent identity-searching and emotional growth.

"There's room for everyone inside The Cardboard Kingdom, where friendship and imagination reign supreme." --Ingrid Law, New York Times bestselling author of Savvy

"A timely and colorful graphic novel debut that, like its many offbeat but on-point characters, marches to the beat of its own cardboard drum."Β --Tim Federle, award-winning author of Better Nate Than Ever

This book is great if you want a taste of kindergarten in a graphic novel. It is fun, easy to read and plain good.

This book is exciting and inspiring. It made me want to create my own costumes and play in my own world of cardboard. After reading this, me and my siblings made characters and ran (or rode, flew, swam, etc.) off to the Cardboard Kingdom!

I really recommend this book it's super kiddie type super fun and you never want to put it down because it's so good πŸ‘ so me personally I think it's a great book for kids ! And it only cost 10 bucks! So read it if you can.

I love this book! It's so good and just keeps your mind off of everything else that is on your mind. I recommend this .😍😍😍

This book is a comic book. It is a really good book. If you have a imagination, you will love this book! (recommended for grades 2-4)

This is the perfect book for kids who have an extensive imagination. The neighborhood kids make an entire fantasy kingdom out of cardboard. ThereΕ› the mad scientist, the evil sorceress, and many other fantasy characters. There's even the Dragon Inn, which has potions and armor. However, when the new kid comes, will the neighborhood kids be able to persuade him to use his imagination?
