Selling a baseball card for 120 dollars sounds great, but imagine if you later found out you could have sold it for millions more. What would be your reaction? Griffin's parents are running into tons of money troubles. They may have to move out of town! If that happens, Griffin and his friend Ben will get separated! When he sneaks into a house rumored to be haunted the day before it gets demolished, Griffin discovers a 1970s Babe Ruth card, he takes it to a man who buys collectibles named S.Wendell Palomino. After he informs Griffin that the card is only worth $120, Griffin's first response is disappointment. But when he sees S.Wendell on T.V with Griffin's card, he is angry. He plans on forming a team to break into S.Wendell's store and take back what is his. Will he succeed? Or will he get arrested? I really enjoyed this book because there is a lot of action.

After a mean collector named Swindle cons him out of his most valuable baseball card, Griffin Bing must put together a band of misfits to break into Swindle's compound and recapture the card. There are many things standing in their way -- a menacing guard dog, a high-tech security system, a very secret hiding place, and their general inability to drive -- but Griffin and his team are going to get back what's rightfully his . . . even if hijinks ensue.
This is Gordon Korman at his crowd-pleasing best, perfect for readers who like to hoot, howl, and heist.

This is a really good book! most parts of the book are a little confusing. But, overall a really good book.
This book is awesome. and a very good read Griffin, and his friend, Ben go to a mansion for the night. Griffin looked around and finds a desk and a card. The next morning they go to a shop which sells antique objects. The shopkeeper offers them only $120 for the card and Griffin goes home, turns on the T.V, then sees this:The shopkeeper was holding the card Griffin sold to him-and said it cost $1 million. He had sold that card to him for $120. Clearly the shopkeeper was a big lier and it was up to Griffen to somehow get the to card back to Griffen.
I love getting in my bed knowing I'm going to be swept up in a adventure with every chapter. All the stress about homework is suddenly gone and replaced with relief. Every character plays a part and every character saves the day one time or another.
The book swindle is magnificent. It's by Gordon Korman. Griffin and his team try to get back their card. The book is named after Swindle because he cheats on Griffin and steals his baseball card. If you want to find out more read the book.

This is a witty book by Gordon Korman that describes a crew of kids' plan to steal back a swindled baseball card. The book describes how the kids, including the mastermind, Griffin Bing, plan, attempt, and must improvise their plan to get back their baseball card. If you enjoy mysteries or books that explain mysteries, this is for you!
