This bestselling first book in the Tapper Twins series is a hilariously authentic showcase of what it's like to be in middle school in our digitally-saturated world, told as a colorful "oral history" with photos, screenshots, text messages, chat logs, and online gaming digital art.

Twelve-year-old twins, Claudia and Reese, who couldn't be more different...except in their determination to come out on top in a vicious prank war. But when the competition escalates into an all-out battle that's fought from the cafeteria of their New York City private school all the way to the fictional universe of an online video game, the twins have to decide if their efforts to destroy each other are worth the price. In a starred review, Publishers Weekly declared "This uproarious series opener... is packed with both laugh-out-loud moments and heart."

This book is about Claudia and Reese Tapper (the Tapper twins) got into this HUGE fight but Claudia thinks it is a war. Reese says that the war was on the game called MetaWorld where Reese has an army and Claudia does not. Reese says that they started an argument in the kitchen. Claudia disagrees with Reese. Also Claudia thinks Reese and his friends are soccer idiots. Plus Claudia is in love with Jens (pronounced “Yens”) and Jens is not is in love with Claudia (also Claudia thinks Jens is not a soccer idiot like Reese and his friends). Later on Claudia put a very stinky fish in Reese’s backpack and Reese got her back with a very stinky cheese. At the end Claudia and Reese gave a truce each other because they learned a lesson from their argument.

The Tapper twins Go To War, by Geoff Rodkey is a book about twins who don't get along. Their names are Claudia and Reese. I like this book because it is written in different points of view and it seems like a fight is going on thoughout the whole book. The twins are arguing about what happened. What I think is interesting is the illustrations. Some of them are drawn and look like a kid drew them. Some of them are real black and white photoghraphs. I kept wondering when they were going to learn their lesson?! Finally in the end they learn their lesson and are happy that they are at peace and not trying to get even. Because let's face it, nobody likes war. People can get hurt. You should really read this book!

Also, the video perfectly describes the book so if you're trying to figure out whether you want to read it or not, just watch the video!

This book was extremely funny and fun overall. It is about two twins who start a prank war. The pranks are very creative and I enjoyed reading it. I was able to finish the whole book on the plane and it entertained me very well. The characters were really interesting and, although twins, were polar-opposites. I think that twins and anyone else will like this book a lot!

Very true :) I kind of wish I had a twin after reading this book :)

I read this book recently and it is really good! What first intrigued me was that it is written by the same person who wrote the Disney channel TV series, "Good Luck Charlie". Although, it wasn't anything like the show I enjoyed reading it.

I wish had a twin BECAUSE I HAVE LIKE FOUR SISTERS!!!!!!!!!

oh and the book is REALLY FUNNY!!!!!

For some reason I am interested in reading a lot of books with the theme of war and survival! This one looks pretty funny, and being a twin, I can't help but want to read a book about twins!

It looks so cool

i love the little video here and i wish i could go to war

I agree with genius1326 - just read "Because of Winn-Dixie" by Kate Dicamillo. You'll learn that wars are horrible and should be curse words, really, in my opinion. There is this really sad story in "Because of Winn-Dixie" that goes like this: A boy wanted to go to war because his father and his brothers went to war too. He pretended to be older just so he could go to war. But he learned that war was HORRIBLE - his father and brothers died, among many people. His sisters' and his mother's house was blown up by the enemies, and he was left alone.. without any family or a home. So he walked all the way to Florida and suddenly wanted candy.. So he made a candy brand that captures sadness in it, because he was very melancholy when he made it..

Trust me, war is not fun.

I want the book and i wonder if that game is real
