This book is amazing! It has some violence, but not enough to make it too much for kids around and/or over nine or ten to read. The book, at least in this case, is much better then the movie. Enjoy as Hunger Games heroine Katniss Everdeen as she plays in the games for district 12 with her to-be boyfriend, Peeta Mellark. Awesome book!!!!!!

This book told a story of survival skills, love, humanity, and it was all through the eyes of Katniss, the protagonist. She is determined, clever, and good with a bow. Read this book!
This is hands down one of my favorite books on planet earth! The Hunger Games is about a country (i think) called Panem. Every year they post a annual Hunger Games. 2 kids from ages 12-18 from each of the 12 districts. Katniss Everdeen lives in district 12 which is the poorest district out of all of the districts. Her sister gets picked for the Hunger Games and since Katniss loves her sister so much she volenteers as tribute. Then the boy from district 12 gets picked and he has had a crushh on Katniss since he could remember. The more they get to know eachother the more they start to fall in love. But during the games only one victor can win. What will happen to the lovers of district 12? Read The Hunger Games to find out.

I I'm fascinated over this series. Just to even think about killing people over food and to be chosen over 1000 persons to fight other persons is amazing.!!

This book was really amazing! It's about this weird city where the "Capital" rules like an oligarchy, government ruled by the few for selfish purposes, and is seperated int several districts. Each district produces a certain product. To keep it's citizens in check and show how powerful they are, the Capital has it's annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a test of survival and a fight to the death in extreme enviroments. Katniss, in the mining district, has entered herself who knows how many times to get extra grain. And Primrose, her beloved sister, is entered once. It's your turn to find out what Katniss does to keep her loved ones out of harms way. In the Hunger Games Triloligy you will encounter love, bloodshed, anger, and awe.
