i love it this is cool
16 year old Katniss Everdeen lives in district 12, the poorest district of all, the cruel Capitol chooses a boy and a girl, ages 12-18 from each of the 12 districts come to compete in the annual Hunger Games where they are forced to fight to the last tribute. But what happens when Katniss' sweet, helpless, 12 year old sister gets chosen? This books takes place in North America after they rise from the ashes of World War III.
nice book i am reading them all and not stoping untill im done

It is my favorite book I have ever read. It is kind of violent in the beginning of part two though so you have to be prepared. I would recommend reading the book before watching the movie because if you don't read the book first, you don't know what your in for. Actually it does have a lesson in it some people think its a book about children killing other children. But it actually has a HUGE lesson it has. Also its very humorous and fun to read, also it can be very sad and I recommend this book for people who love adventure.

For all of the readers who want a series that will never lose their attention, pick up the Hunger Games. Katniss Everdeen is a compelling and strong character who is full of perseverance and love. This book begins her story of blood, sweat, and tears in fighting for justice against the Capitol with Peeta Mellark, Gale, her mother, Cinna, Effie, Prim, and Haymitch right by her side.
this was a good book
