Book two in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don’t miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built!

Thomas was sure that escape from the Maze would mean freedom for him and the Gladers. But WICKED isn’t done yet. Phase Two has just begun. The Scorch.
The Gladers have two weeks to cross through the Scorch—the most burned-out section of the world. And WICKED has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them.
There are others now. Their survival depends on the Gladers’ destruction—and they’re determined to survive.
Friendships will be tested. Loyalties will be broken. All bets are off.

The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.

I would really like to read this book, and it looks very interesting

Thomas expected nothing less than a nice life after he escaped the maze, but what he got instead was yet ANOTHER trial that put him through even more obstacles then the maze! in "the scorch trails,"Thomas is put through heartbreak, dangerous situations, questionable alliances, and nothing less than horrific Cranks, people succumbed to the Flare. Despite being told that passing the Scorch Trials would let him and his friends have a cure, he still battles his own personal conflicts. I loved this book even though it's nothing like the books i normally read, and i'm so excited to see the movie adaptation of "the maze runner" later on this year. Recommended for readers that like adventure and are prepared to cry at a surprise betrayal.

As soon as I finished the Maze Runner I bought this. It's an amazing sequel. You learn a lot more about WICKED (but not enough to cease all questions), and you meet new characters like Aris, Brenda, and Jorge. It has a good ending, but you still want more. :)

Amazing second book to the Maze Runner series. This book shocks you when the reality presses down on Thomas and the remaining Gladers. The world is left a wasteland against a frightening plauge and there is no place safe to turn. WICKED continues to follow Thomas, but the real question is... What's real and what isn't. 5 stars!!!

After Tom escaped the glade he and the gladers go through a shocking journey and finds new friends. This was a good sequel.

After escaping the Glade, Thomas thought he was safe. Was he really or is this another trial? Short summary I know, but that's pretty much what the book was about. I didn't like it as much as the first one, but read this for the sequel.
