Book one in the blockbuster Maze Runner series that spawned a movie franchise and ushered in a worldwide phenomenon! And don’t miss The Fever Code, the highly-anticipated series conclusion that finally reveals the story of how the maze was built!
When Thomas wakes up in the lift, the only thing he can remember is his name. He’s surrounded by strangers—boys whose memories are also gone.
Outside the towering stone walls that surround them is a limitless, ever-changing maze. It’s the only way out—and no one’s ever made it through alive.
Then a girl arrives. The first girl ever. And the message she delivers is terrifying: Remember. Survive. Run.
The Maze Runner and Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials are now major motion pictures featuring the star of MTV's Teen Wolf, Dylan O’Brien; Kaya Scodelario; Aml Ameen; Will Poulter; and Thomas Brodie-Sangster. The third movie, Maze Runner: The Death Cure, will hit screens in 2018.

OMG i love the movie
I decided to read The Maze Runner because it was on my summer reading list for school. I like the movie also. Thomas is the main character. he ends up in a glade type of place. the have this creator called the griever. the griever lives in maze. all the people in the maze are boys until a girl shows up a day after Thomas. I really enjoyed the book if you like adventure you should read this book to see what happens read the book to find out. I cant wait to see the whole series of the maze runner!!!!!
I decided to read this book after enjoying the movie. Of course, the book is better! James Dashner creates characters that are both extremely interesting and relatable. His descriptions of character and setting strengthen the unsettling plot, creating a story whose pages just seem to fly by.
great book filled with suspense and a little bit of romance. I would absolutely recommend this book as well as the seiries.
i want to read this because it is something new and I have never read it.
I love this book series. It's honestly one of my favourites. The plot is amazing and every book keeps you on the edge of your seat. It has made me cry a few times; I will admit XD But that just goes to prove how truly amazing this book is. I have been fangirling over it everyday for at least a few months. I'm even writting a fanfiction cross over about this book as well as The Hunger Games Series and the Divergent series. It's called Munies written by jillroge1225 and (me) InsaneFangirl221b . It's on Wattpad and were just getting started with it if anyone is interested :)
awesome
I really liked this book. Some parts were a little slow but for the most part it was great! I recommend it for people who like action.
This book was a great book! I have read the whole entire series now, and they are all pretty good books. This book is the first book in the series, and it is probably the least scary of them all. The Maze Runner is now one of my favorite books, and it is great for fans of Divergent or The Hunger Games. Kids below 6th grade should not be reading this book. It will probably give them nightmares, and it will make them not want to read it when they are old enough. READ THIS BOOK! IT IS AWESOME!! :)
