Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has survived the Hunger Games twice. But now that she's made it out of the bloody arena alive, she's still not safe. The Capitol is angry. The Capitol wants revenge. Who do they think should pay for the unrest? Katniss. And what's worse, President Snow has made it clear that no one else is safe either. Not Katniss's family, not her friends, not the people of District 12. Powerful and haunting, this thrilling final installment of Suzanne Collins's groundbreaking The Hunger Games trilogy promises to be one of the most talked about books of the year.

This book was amazing and was hard to stop reading! This is the last book of the Hunger Games series and it ended well.It was about rebellion against the Capitol. Many twists and turns happen.I think this book was epic!

This book could've been a lot better in my opinion. The first book was great, the second, okay, and this one was sad compared to them. Everyone in it died, or left, and it was just a horrible book without all the death and everything. I wouldn't suggest it.

I totally agree; it broke my heart when Katniss remembered how Peeta said he'd 'always' stay with her but I realized he was hijacked, so he can never keep that promise... it had a BAD ending, in my opinion. It was the only book I'd ever read that made me cry. But, thing is, only the most brilliant of authors can bring out the real emotion out of you, so... it wasn't the worst, I guess.

I know, annabeth123, that's what I think about Mockingjay. It was really gory, compared to the 1st one and the 2nd one. Sad. ; (

The third & final installment of The Hunger Games Trilogy, Mockingjay, focuses on an overwhelmed Katniss Everdeen, who has awakened to learn that she has become the Mockingjay, a symbol of significance for several Districts. She is taken to District 13, a District thought long ago to be annihilated by the Capitol, where she meets President Coin, an uptight, sophisticated woman who has led her people underground in secrecy. Will Katniss reunite with some of her affluential associates in preparation for a dangerous duel? As the plan for rebellion over the Capitol unwinds, will President Snow be subdued against the mighty Mockingjay & her followers? Who will rise? Who will fall? So many questions, but so many answers - the battle has only just begun...
