This is a book in the baby sitters club series written by the author Ann M. Martin. In this book, Mallory is intrigued when she finds an old diary. In the diary is a mystery... a 100 year old mystery! 12 year old Sophie's father has been excused of stealing a portrait of his late wife, but Sophie knows he didn't do it!
