Nick and Tesla are bright 11-year-old siblings with a knack for science, electronics, and getting into trouble. When their parents mysteriously vanish, they’re sent to live with their Uncle Newt, a brilliant inventor who engineers top-secret gadgets for a classified government agency. It’s not long before Nick and Tesla are embarking on adventures of their own—engineering all kinds of outrageous MacGyverish contraptions to save their skin: 9-volt burglar alarms, electromagnets, mobile tracking devices, and more. Readers are invited to join in the fun as each story contains instructions and blueprints for five different projects.

In Nick and Tesla’s High-Voltage Danger Lab, we meet the characters and learn how to make everything from rocket launchers to soda-powered vehicles. Learning about science has never been so dangerous—or so much fun!

This is a good book, especially for those people who tinker with odds and ends in their spare time. The story is pleasantly funny and mysterious enough to keep the reader interested. I would recommend this story to anyone who has a few hours to fill.

This book is about two siblings who have a talent for science, electronics, and getting into big trouble. Suddenly there parents mysteriously vanish, and the two children are sent to live with their Uncle Newt who also happens to be an inventor. A strange young girl keeps telling them to stay away from a house which is "reconstructing." This book was a real mystery and exciting! A great plus is that there's some cool experiments at the end of the book!

My class loved this book so I read it myself it is a great book for middle schoolers. I enjoyed this book a lot.Thank you.

This book Nick and Tesla's High-Voltage Danger Lab: A Mystery With Gadgets You Can Build Yourself was really creative. Thank you Bob Pflugfelder and Steve Hockensmith for writing this wonderful book. I laughethought so much while reading it.

This is a very good book in my opinion, and I think anyone from the ages of 9-14 can read it. Nick and Tesla are both 11,Both love science, and are two very smart kids.Nick and Tesla are sent to go and live with there uncle Newt because there parents have vanished. There Uncle Newt is a inventor who invents things for a secret government.Throughout the book they have cool experiments you can actually create or do at home.If I owned this book I would read it over and over again because it's just that awesome.I strongly recommend this book.

This was a very good book, more for kids between 10-14, but alright for us older teens. Nick and Tesla go to stay at their uncle's house, but there is a young girl at the window who warns them to get away from the house. Not their uncle's, an old house which they are 'reconstructing' . In the book, it shows some really good experiments. One's that you can actually make at home. Definitely recommended for tweens!!

This book is so cool and fun. I got it for my birthday and I loved reading it. I recommend this book to all my friends.

I really really liked this book. It is one of my best books in the Nick and Tesla series. I love this awesome book. It is a really fun mystery book with gadgets you can build yourself.
