The captivating sequel to INKHEART, the critically acclaimed, international bestseller by Cornelia Funke, an author who is emerging as a truly modern classic writer for children.

Although a year has passed, not a day goes by without Meggie thinking of INKHEART, the book whose characters became real. But for Dustfinger, the fire-eater brought into being from words, the need to return to the tale has become desperate. When he finds a crooked storyteller with the ability to read him back, Dustfinger leaves behind his young apprentice Farid and plunges into the medieval world of his past. Distraught, Farid goes in search of Meggie, and before long, both are caught inside the book, too. But the story is threatening to evolve in ways neither of them could ever have imagined.

I try to imagine how Gwin the marten looks like with his little horns and beady eyes. I want him for a pet even though it is just not possible.

They are all really good follow me please im superjeffman

Dustfinger is my fav. character! Even if in the first book he did betray them!

I love this so much! Just as good as the first book, if not better, as Meggie and Farid finally enter the Inkworld itself! Oh my gosh I LOVE Dustfinger, too!

Favorite Series Ever! Followed up with Inkspell and Inkdeath. Review in Inkdeath. And the book is WAY better than the movie!

The Inkheart trilogy is a clever story of a family who are thrown into mayhem because of the father's power to read. Funke throws the reader into the story with a wham, smashing two different worlds together. Can Meggie save her family from the perils Inkheart keeps dishing out?
