When I first read this book a couple years ago, I was blown away! But, as I keep reading it over and over again, it just keeps getting better and better! Not many books do that for me, but not only does it never get old, but this book fills me with happiness as well as sadness every time I read it…! Wonder by R. J. Palacio is a book about a boy named August Pullman, or Auggie who has a facial deformity. He has been homeschooled all his life, but when 5th grade comes along, his parents decide he should try public school. Auggie is terrified, but soon, he finds his way in school. He even makes friends! As the school year goes on, Auggie experiences the pain of bullying and the joy of making friends! This book is so inspiring and I think everyone should read it because it is so impactful!

Nobody else sees him that way, not even his family. His sister, Via, sometimes feels left out because of August getting all the attention. August's mom convinces him to go to a private school, and Auggie immediately makes an enemy: Julian. Julian is a bully who will do anything to pester Auggie and convince him he doesn't belong, Along with Auggie's best friend, Jack, Auggie starts to try to fit in. He makes a new friend, Summer. The three begin to realize things they didn't know would happen, and things start to turn upside down. How will Jack and Summer understand the situation? Will August manage to fit in? All you have to do is read this book and find out! I love this sweet touching book, and I know you will too!

i read this at my school it is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good it teaches you a good lesson. i would give ''Wonder'' a 10 star rate ( if i could) give more stars
