This is a really good book, but part of it is not good if you are not yet 12. There are some things that you shouldn't know about yet until then. Otherwise, this is a wonderful book, and is very interesting and delightful to read.

I loved this book even though it took me a while to read it.
Katsa has been able to kill a man with her bare hands since she was eight. She's one of the rare people in her land who has a "graceling", someone born with an extreme skill. She also happens to be the king's sister's daughter, and has to do all of his dirty work. This means she has to do the warnings of the king, going and hurting others who do not listen to the king, and this is not one of her favorite things to do. Then she meets Prince Po, who is graced with combat skills. She leans the secret of her own graceling, and a terrible secret in another kingdom. Her and Prince Po embark on an adventure together to save the kingdom who could destroy all other kingdoms.
