I read this book for a reading competition at school and I must admit, I really did NOT enjoy it. I've seen plays based on this book before so, I was kind of excited that this book was on the list for the competition this year. But, I had the wrong idea. It just seemed kind of boring and slow paced for me. Maybe it was because I've seen a couple plays about it and was used to it now, or maybe it just wasn't my kind of book I don't know because I bet there are definitely some people who liked this book. I usually read more fantasy, maybe a lil' sci-fi, and adventure books so I do suggest if you are like me, you might not like this book.

this is the kind of book that is just the one you want to sit and read all the time. you just cant put it down!
i really liked this story! I recommend this book to girls in any grade-- just make sure you can read pretty well
The Secret Garden is a well known classic that i highly recommend to anyone who wants to read a touching story about a young girl
