When Ben discovers a puzzling clue in his mother's room and Rose reads an enticing headline in the newspaper, both children set out alone on desperate quests to find what they are missing.

Set fifty years apart, these two independent stories--Ben's told in words, Rose's in pictures--weave back and forth with mesmerizing symmetry. How they unfold and ultimately intertwine will surprise you, challenge you, and leave you breathless with wonder. Rich, complex, affecting, and beautiful--with over 460 pages of original artwork--Wonderstruckis a stunning achievement from a gifted artist and visionary.

I really loved this book I liked how the author draw a lot of picture and still wrote a lot. I thought that the author did a really awesome job at drawing and writing it to!!!!

I think this book is very entertaining and cool. It was odd at first when Ben did not know he was deaf when his house was struck by lightning. It was really cool how the two stories came together and Ben and rose met. Love it friends!

This is a good book because it is a mix of picture and writing and then they mix! Love it freinds!

The teacher read this book to us a long time ago. So much discription! I love it. 5 stars! I love how 2 stories are combined and simalar to each other! I like these kinds of books because they tell the stories in pictures and in words very discriptivly. Ben goes looking for his father but his mother is already dead and he is staying with his cousins. He gets struck by lightning and becomes deaf. In the other story rose is already deaf and is looking for her brother Walter. In the end they are still deaf but rose finds Walter and Ben does not find his parents but he discoveres an amazing machine. 2 thumbs up for wonder struck!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brian Selznick did a great job combining 2 stories so they played out like a movie. Read his other books as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
