A wonderful middle-grade novel narrated by Kenny, 9, about his middle-class black family, the Weird Watsons of Flint, Michigan. When Kenny's 13-year-old brother, Byron, gets to be too much trouble, they head South to Birmingham to visit Grandma, the one person who can shape him up. And they happen to be in Birmingham when Grandma's church is blown up.

mlove this book . My favoritepart when daddy shave byron hair

I love this book because things they say the person telling the story (Kenny) says the words with expression .and the thing I don't like about the is that the book has cures .

I really like this book. Some of the events were really, really funny. Byron was involved with some of the funniest incidents. He really is the "reflection kisser".

i agree with u. Byron is also the one who gets in the most trouble. It was funny how his mom wanted to drive to the hospital with his lips stuck to the car mirrior

i loved this book

The greats book ever in the whole intre world. People should really read this book.
