i read this book already

Nora Rose Rowley is a genius, but don't tell anyone. She is in the fifth grade without anyone figuring out she is a genius, and she wants to keep it a secret. But then Nora gets fed up with the importance of grades and test scores, she purposely brings back a horrible report card home, just to prove a point. Suddenly, the attention she has successfully avoided her entire life is now focused on her, and her secret is out. And that is when things start to get complicated.

i liked how she kept her intelligence since she was little. I thought it was funny when she pretended to be a cat. It was smart that she and Steven made a plan. I also liked that Ms. Bryan helped her keep her secret, and stood up for her

I agree! Great review!

The book is about a supersmart girl named Nora and she pretends to be an average kid so she wouldn't seem different from the other kids. But finally her teachers figure out her secret and the principal wants to put her in the gifted classes, but she says that she likes the teachers that she had and doesn't want to switch to the gifted classes and......... read on to find out more about this wonderful tale artfully spun by Andrew Clements!
