I think this book is so sad and touching. This girl gives her life to help other people, and I felt so bad for her because she was just so nice and thoughtful, she didn't deserve to have that kind of ending! :(

I think this book is an awesome book . It is about a 6th grade girl who who is enthusiastic and loves to run. She finds out she has leukemia and is brave , strong , and doesn't give up because she decided to make 1,000 paper cranes and if she completed all 1,000 "the Gods" would give her 1 wish.

I have read this book . One time ,my teacher said that I looked like Sadako with my long hair

This book is called Sadako and a thousand paper cranes an 11 year old girl who had a disease from the bomb. Also she got dizzy and fell but never told her parents that she was dizzy. One day she fell again and got bake up and fell down again then she went to the hospital and she had to stay at the hospital for a little while. Her friend told her that if you want good luck you have to make 1,000 paper cranes to have good luck but she only made about 600 . She grew weaker and weaker and she died from the disease.
