I really enjoyed this book. The plot was very engaging and kept me interested. I would recommend it for older students considering the violence. A few parts were harder to comprehend when Malcolm was describing the chaos theory. As I said, really enjoyed this book!

I think this is a very good book. It's got an amazing plot and story however, I would say it is only appropriate for 15+. Some scenes and descriptions are quite gory which may be inappropriate for younger readers. On the other hand, it is an awesome book and a great read.

Quite bloody, but a great story! Inaccurate, however.

If you like dinosaurs & action books you're in luck. Jurassic Park is an amazing action story with amazing details. The author put a lot of sense in the characters & the island. I think the author's strength in this book was the details, & I only found one or two typos. The book is 448 pages long. The storyline keeps you hooked to it so whenever you can you would want to read it. My favorite dinosaur out all the ones on the island is the dilophosaurus. The dilophosaurus was 10ft tall and had a special gland to spit venom in its prey's eyes, blinding them. As I was reading this book I could imagine that this could be a real life scenario. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes an adventure.

Dinosaurs are the biggest animals know to man but when John Hammond and a group of genetic engineers finger out to recreate them it takes on man to turn everything into chaos. This is Jurassic Park a book written by Michael Crichton. This book takes place in a small island off Costa Rica called isla Nublar where John Hammond's amazing park lays. Hammond invites a paleontologist named Alan Grant, a botness Ellie Sattler, a lawyer named Donald Gennaro, and a mathematician named Ian Malcolm. Hammond also brings his grandson and daughter Tim and Lex. These are the protagonist, but there can't be protagonist without an antagonist. Dennis Nedry who wants to steal something of great importance to Hammond. When he does the security systems turn off and the dinosaurs get loose leaving the small group stuck in a island full of dinosaurs as they try to get the security systems back online. The reason I liked this book is because I watched the movie and I knew there was a book so I decided to read it and after I read the action packed book I really liked it. Also I like dinosaurs so if there is anyone who likes dinosaurs this would be a book for you.

I really enjoyed this book. I also have seen the movie before the book. They are really different I will tell you that! Many people in the book are killed off but in the movie survive. It's still an amazing book and people should give it a read. If you like the Jurassic Park trilogy this book is pretty much the same.

Book is amazing so is the movie. I'm going to read the lost world the second book.

Amazing Book. I suggest for any JP fan or Dino fans.

this book is about a park built on a island made up of volcano's with d.n.a. engenered dinosaurs that are escaping their cells. will every one on the island survive and get the island under control, or will the dinosaurs rule the earth again? find out in this book.
